REALISITIC. CREATIVE. DRIVEN.
THE A-Z PROCESS
Bear River Construction (BRC) divides its construction process into two main stages.
Traditionally, contractors take a hands-off approach during the pre-permit stage and rely on the homeowner to hire designers and engineers to attain permits required and approved by the city. BRC knows how intimidating and confusing this stage can be. Our goal is to ensure that we help our clients every step of the way when bringing any vision they have come to life. BRC is dedicated to being a part of the process from the very start, stage A, all the way until the final one, stage Z.
The Pre-Permit Stage:
Bear River Construction takes the time to preplan with their clients in this stage. We go through breaking down the timing, planning, design, engineering and permits required.
Post Permit/Construction Stage:
Once permits are approved and planning is set, BRC can begin in bringing YOUR vision to life.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
My name is Ignacio Osorio and I am the President and Founder of Bear River Construction, Inc. I was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in Los Angeles.
In 2005, I purchased my first home: a major fixer-upper. I had a vision of what the house could be but had no experience in construction work. I began the pain-staking process of permitted construction without having any resources or help. Through trial and error, I learned how the permit process worked and then I acquired my first set of permits from the city. Then a set of second challenges began: hiring reliable and competent skilled laborers to complete my vision.
After 10 years of completing several major permitted home addition and renovation projects, I became enamored with design and construction. This experience and curiosity led me to switch from business manager to becoming a deputy inspector for the city of Los Angeles. I then obtained my General Contractor’s License in July of 2019. Since then I have worked on numerous projects with my team to ensure we bring our client’s vision to life.
